What It Is: Facial Hair Remover
What I Paid: .49 CAD
Where To Buy: Ebay
When I first seen this product on youtube it seriously looked like a joke to me, but at the same time it looked like a funky gadget to remove facial hairs. I paid literally .49 cents for it from ebay, china of course and it took about 2 weeks to arrive which is pretty good.
I did read a lot of reviews and complaints about how painful it is. I tried this as soon as I got it and holy crap this hurts a lot. I usually wax and tweeze so I am used to the pain but seriously this hurt me a lot.
I have been trying to get used to the pain and I have been using it everyday for about 5 days now, and I am sort of getting used to it now.
Overall I think it's a cool gadget to have. I like that I don't need a mirror to use this tool, I can watch TV to distract myself from the pain.
I still think waxing is much more quicker and affective. Removing a large amount of hair with the epistick is time consuming, so it all depends on you if you think it's worth it.
Areas You Can Use This Tool On:
- Upper Lip
- I would not use this on my eyebrows since it's not a precise tool
How I use This Product:
Bend it in a U shape on the area you want to remove any hair and roll the handles in the opposite direction. The hair will get trapped in the spring coils.
Here is a video showing you how to use the Epistick
- Affordable on Ebay
- No mirror needed to use this product
- Does not irritate my skin or leave any redness
- Removes very fine hairs
- Hurts like hell, especially in the beginning
- Does not take out a lot of hairs at one time, you do have to go over the same area a couple times
If you are sensitive to waxing I think you should definitely give this beauty tool a try. I still personally prefer waxing because I can remove larger areas quicker, but for smaller areas I think this product is affective, but it does a hurt a lot in my opinion.
