Too Faced Smokey Eyeshadow Collection - Review & Pictures
What I Paid: $45.00 CAD
Where To Buy: Sephora Stores, Sephora Website, Too Faced Cosmetics Website
Product Description
"Nine smoldering shadows ranging from mattes to shimmers add modern eye drama. Includes three, easy-to follow, How-To Cards"
Over the last year I have really been impressed with the quality of the Too Faced eyeshadow palettes so I definitely wanted to try another one. While I was at Sephora I picked up the Smokey Palette.
Packaging
The palette comes with 9 beautiful shades. As with all of the Too Faced Palettes the packaging is made up of a cardboard that has a beautiful design on the outside of the box and it has a magnetic closure inside the box that you can't see. Inside the palette there are 3 cards that give you ideas for looks. The first card gives you a Day look, the second card gives you a Classic look and the third card gives you a Fashion look. I personally don't use these cards but I guess it's great if your starting out in makeup and want some ideas.
Pigmentation
As with most of the Too Faced palettes the pigmentation is excellent. The shadows feel extremely smooth and are very easy to work with and blend.
I would have to say the black shadow in this palette wasn't as pigmented as I thought it would be but it's not a huge deal. I also was a little disappointed that the palette doesn't come with a matte highlighter. I usually use a matte highlighter if I have shimmer on my lids, it just balances the look.

Below I have swatched the eyeshadows to correspond with their look.
