What e.l.f Cosmetics Claims
Instantly brighten eyes with e.l.f. Cosmetics shimmering metallic liners that put the spotlight on eyes. The smooth formulation glides on effortlessly without tugging at the delicate eye area. Choose from an assortment of 9 vibrant shades designed to add depth, definition and a special sparkle to create a very glamorous look! Pencil includes a convenient sharpener cap for easy use!
Packaging
The packaging is sleek. It has glitter on the actual pencil which makes sense since the eyeliner has shimmer in it. The name of the shade is carved into the pencil so I thought that was a nice touch. These eyeliner come with a sharpener that is attached the cap which I think is very unique and does make sense but I personally don't use the sharpener because the product gets stuck in the sharpener and just causes a huge mess.
Pigmentation
When swatched the eyeliner is nicely pigmented. The white shade isn't as pigmented as the black one, but they are buildable. Even though it has nice pigmented when it's swatched it doesn't have the greatest color pay off on my top lash line and barely shows up on my water line, which is a bit disappointing. They aren't the creamiest eyeliners either so if you do have sensitive skin you might not like these pencils since they do tug on the skin.
Staying Power
The staying power for these eyeliners is okay for the price. They last a couple hours on my eyes and then star to wear off. I have dry eyes so I am guessing they last longer for me compared to someone who has oily lids. Either way I always set these liners with an eyeshadow.
Overall
I personally would not repurchase these eyeliners again. I don't think they are very pigmented and they don't apply very smoothly which is a problem for my sensitive skin. I have not tried the colorful shades so maybe those have a better color pay off. Even though they are very affordable I still don't think they are worth it.
